Parks- I do think the main difference is that Titanic is split into two-three peices.....while Britannic is in a complete intact.

Thanks James,I'm bad.

Aly,

Britannic had an additional first-class elevator fitted amidships, extending between decks B thru E. As in Olympic and Titanic, there were three first-class elevators forward of the main staircase, which extended as far down as E Deck. The difference was that the elevators on Olympic and Titanic only went up as far as the Promenade Deck (A), whereas on Britannic they extended all the way up to the Boat Deck.

Aly,

If you want me to switch from playful to serious, then I must correct you. Britannic is broken in two; otherwise, divers could not have made their way into the boiler rooms.

I knowleadge you're answer simon,thank you.

Parks,I was being serious!(Thanks for speaking to me,how I wish to be spoken to) :)
Britannic is fully complete intact (including her bow) with her bow having a huge hole/gash on the side,is this correct?
Fully Intact means "All the ship is still conected to the contruction" is this correct?

Aly,

In very real terms, Britannic is broken in two. If you tried to lift the wreck from the seabed, it would come up in two pieces. It is only her resting position on the seabed that gives any illusion of being intact.

Likewise, Titanic's bow section is actually broken in two. The intact forward well deck and some shell plating along the sides gives the illusion that the bow section is one piece, but it isn't. When we were down there in 2005, it was obvious that the forward well deck is under an enormous amount of strain. I fully expect that the next time we see the wreck, the forward well deck will have split open.

To add some more information on Britannic's interiors:

* The pool on Deck F was improved, not in its size, but in the room design. The bare bulkheads which could be seen on Olympic and Titanic were to be covered with marble panels, and there should also be a kind of arch with large lights on the ceiling. See here: http://www.hospitalshipbritannic.com/rms_fdeck.htm

* On the portside of the Boat Deck a Childrens' Playroom was to be installed: http://www.hospitalshipbritannic.com/rms_boatdeck.htm

* Instead of two Promenade Suites on Deck B there should be just one on the Port side, on the Starboard side a enlarged Parlour Suite with a large Veranda lounge added to the regular sitting room was planned: http://www.hospitalshipbritannic.com/rms_bdeck.htm

All in all, for further interesting information on Britannic, have a closer look on this great website: http://www.hospitalshipbritannic.com/. I think, at least some of the message board members know it well... ;)
